1. Team contact email

The team contact email address serves as a central point of contact for sending company announcements and maintenance information. By default, the email address of the person who created the team is stored here.

Whilst all team members can view this contact address, only owners can change it via the team settings.

The following notifications are sent exclusively to the team’s contact email address:

  • Notifications regarding resource events, such as failed deployments or failovers

  • Notifications regarding defined alarm policies

  • Notifications regarding emergency migrations or necessary system restarts

  • Information on renewing SSL certificates

In addition, certain emails are sent specifically to users with particular roles:

  • Only Owners, Billers and Billing Viewers receive messages relating to billing.

  • Support ticket notifications are sent to everyone involved in the relevant support case.

2. Secure login

Teams offers secure login methods via Google, GitHub or a centron account with two-factor authentication (2FA).

In the Team Settings section, you can set up one of the methods described above as a requirement for team members to log in. You can check whether secure sign-in is enabled for your team in the Secure Sign-In section, where the status is marked in blue as Enable.

If this is not the case, the status will be set to Disable. You can enable secure login by clicking on the Disable status message. To ensure the changeover is completed successfully, please follow the further steps below.
