This is the technical Changelog for the centron platform. You can find major releases and new Product features at What's new.
The documentation has been updated with a new design and a revised structure. All existing URLs — including the category overviews at /docs/category/… — bleiben unverändert erreichbar; Lesezeichen und Links funktionieren weiterhin.
The Status page continues to run on the existing platform; the layout, typography and icons have been completely revamped. Existing subscriptions for status and incident changes remain active as before, and all incident links remain valid.
The standalone Domain Manager is no longer required; domains and DNS records are managed in ccloud³ under Netzwerk → Domains verwaltet. Einzelne Domain-Endungen werden nicht mehr zur Neuregistrierung angeboten — bestehende Domains bleiben aktiv, lassen sich über die neue Verwaltung jedoch nicht mehr bearbeiten. Die Preisstruktur wurde zum 01.07.2026 angepasst.
Billing and Support have been moved to the ccloud³ sidebar, whilst Team and Account settings have been moved to the profile menu. The previous Account Centre has been discontinued: account.centron.de leitet dauerhaft auf cloud.centron.de um. Bestehende Lesezeichen bleiben damit funktionsfähig.
The announced price adjustment will come into effect on 1 June 2026. It applies to newly created resources and hourly Billing models with no contract term. Existing contracts, quotas and products with a fixed term remain unchanged; the exception is the usage-based services ‘Backup’ and ‘Traffic’, which have been adjusted for all Billing models.
On 1 June 2026, the prices for certain domain extensions will change. Bookings affected by this change will first appear on the invoice issued at the beginning of July. An overview of the extensions and new prices can be found in the documentation.
Resources can be assigned to projects — either when they are created or subsequently by moving them. Projects act as a higher-level grouping, for example by application or environment, and do not affect Billing or access rights.
Contacts on file were transferred to personal accounts and were assigned the role Mitglied: Zugriff auf gemeinsam genutzte Ressourcen, kein Zugriff auf Rechnungsinformationen, Lesezugriff auf Teameinstellungen. Team-Eigentümer sollten die vergebenen Rechte prüfen.
The existing customer number will be used as Team ID geführt, der Wert bleibt unverändert. Ein Benutzerkonto kann mehrere Teams verwalten. Peer Accounts wurden abgeschafft; bestehende Accounts ohne eigene Kundennummer — einschließlich API Accounts — erhielten automatisch die Rolle Member. Neue Bereiche für Team Settings, Account Settings und Rollenvergabe stehen bereit.
Between 16 February and 31 March 2026, virtual machines within the cloud infrastructure at the Hallstadt data centre were migrated — the Worker, Power and HA pools were affected. Security-related components, internal network structures, redundancy concepts and monitoring were modernised in the process. Operations continued without any downtime, and no manual intervention was required.
