New Docs portal is now live #

Our documentation at docs.centron.de has been given a new design — in keeping with centron.de and the ccenter.

  • Light & Dark Mode — The colour scheme follows your system settings and can be changed at any time.
  • Console snippets — Code examples are displayed in terminal style with a language label and a ‘Copy’ button, as in our tutorials.
  • Clearer instructions — Information, advice and warning boxes use a standardised, colour-coded format.
  • New areas — with What's new and Changelog From now on, we’ll keep you up to date directly in the Docs.

Status page with a new design #

The centron status page has been completely revamped.

  • Consistent centron look — Maps, typography and icons follow the design of centron.de.
  • Light & Dark Mode — including saved selections across visits.
  • Improved readability — clearer status indicators for each location and service, as well as a tidier incident history.
  • Subscribe to updates — receive automatic notifications about maintenance and faults.

Domain Manager integrated into ccloud³ #

On 30 June 2026, the current Domain Manager will be migrated directly to ccloud³. In future, you will find the domain management tools centrally located at Network → Domains.

  • DNS in a central location — DNS management is available via direct integration into ccloud³; there is no need for a separate interface.
  • Existing domains will remain active — Certain domain extensions are no longer available for new registrations; domains that have already been registered will continue to be active, but can no longer be managed via the new administration system.
  • New pricing structure — Domain prices will be adjusted on 1 July 2026.

For further details, please see Domains & DNS.

Account Centre integrated into ccloud³ #

The functions of the previous Account Centre are now available directly within ccloud³.

  • Billing and Support in the sidebar — Both sections are permanently accessible on the left.
  • Team and Account settings in the profile menu — top right, alongside the direct links to ccenter and cStack.
  • Forwarding set upaccount.centron.de leitet automatisch auf cloud.centron.de um.

Pricing adjustment 2026 #

Prices for cloud resources will be adjusted with effect from 1 June 2026. The adjustment generally applies only to newly created resources and hourly Billing models without a fixed term; existing contracts and quotas remain unchanged. Exceptions are made for usage-based services Backup and Traffic, which are tailored to each customer.

All the details — affected products, the timetable and what this means for existing contracts — can be found in one place at Pricing adjustment 2026.

Projects available on ccloud³ #

With Projects Organise resources within ccloud³ in a clearer way — for example, by application, client project or environment such as Development, Staging and Production.

  • Assignment during creation — Resources can be assigned directly to a project.
  • Can be postponed at a later date — Existing resources can be moved between projects at any time.
  • Maintaining an overview whilst growing — particularly useful for Teams with multiple applications and separate stages.

For further details, please see Projects.

Contacts become accounts #

On 24 March 2026, the contact details on file were migrated to personal accounts. This has standardised user management across the platform.

  • ‘Member’ role — The new accounts will have access to shared resources, but no access to Billing information and read-only access to team settings.
  • Check permissions — Team owners should check the permissions that have been assigned.

New Teams and user management #

Since 24 February 2026, an optimised structure for Teams and user accounts has been in place in ccloud³. The previous customer number is now referred to as Team ID has been carried forward and remains unchanged.

  • Multiple Teams per Account — switching between Teams is much easier.
  • Peer accounts are no longer required — From now on, there will only be standard accounts.
  • New administrative areas — Team Settings, Account Settings and role assignment; invoicing remains under Billing.

For further details, please see Teams.
