On this page, you will find a concise overview of the key topics from our customer newsletters. The content is organised by month and briefly summarises new products, service updates, technical changes and relevant information.

June 2026

15 June 2026: Domain Manager integrated into ccloud³

On 30 June 2026, the current Domain Manager will be integrated directly into ccloud³. In future, you will find domain management centrally located in the ccloud³ interface under Network → Domains.

With this integration, DNS management will also be available directly within the ccloud³. This means that DNS settings can in future be managed from a central location – without the need for a separate interface.

As part of the transition, some domain extensions will no longer be available for registration in future. Existing domains with these extensions will remain active, but can no longer be edited or managed via the new domain management system.

In addition, the pricing structure for the domains on offer will be adjusted with effect from 1 July 2026.

Relevant for: Customers with existing or planned domain registrations Further information: See documentation

1 June 2026 Account Centre integrated into ccloud³

The functions of the previous Account Centre are now integrated directly into ccloud³. This means that further key areas are available in one place, making the platform easier and more efficient to use.

You can now find Billing and Support in the sidebar on the left. Team and account settings can be accessed via the profile menu in the top right-hand corner. You can also switch directly to ccenter and cstack via the drop-down menu in the top right-hand corner.

The existing Account Centre is being discontinued. When you visit account.centron.de, you will be automatically redirected to cloud.centron.de.

Relevant for: All customers with access to ccloud³

April 2026

30 April 2026 Price adjustment for domains with effect from 1 June 2026

Prices for certain domains will change with effect from 1 June 2026. Customers who own one of the domains affected will see the price adjustment on the invoice issued at the beginning of July.

An overview of the domains affected, including the new prices, is available in the documentation.

Relevant for: Customers with affected domains Further information: See the documentation

28 April 2026 Price adjustment for cloud resources with effect from 1 June 2026

Prices for cloud resources will be adjusted with effect from 1 June 2026. This is due to increased costs for modern cloud infrastructure, particularly for enterprise server hardware such as RAM and NVMe and SSD storage, but also for energy, cooling and data centre operations.

As a general rule, the price adjustment applies exclusively to newly created resources and to hourly billing models without a fixed term. Existing contracts, quotas and products with a fixed term will remain unchanged for all other resources.

The only exceptions are the usage-based resources Backup and Traffic. The adjustment to these two services applies to all customers – regardless of whether they have fixed-term contracts, usage quotas or are billed on an hourly basis.

Relevant for: Customers with cloud resources, hourly billing and who use backup or traffic services Further information: See the documentation

23 April 2026: Projects available in ccloud³

The new Projects feature allows resources within ccloud³ to be organised in a clearer and more structured way. Projects serve as an overarching organisational framework and enable cloud resources to be grouped logically – for example, by application, client project or environment such as Development, Staging and Production.

Resources can be assigned to a project directly when it is created, or moved between projects at a later stage. This enables Teams to maintain an overview even as the infrastructure grows, and to navigate more quickly between different workloads.

This feature is particularly useful for Teams systems running multiple applications, DevOps environments with separate stages, and organisations with a growing cloud infrastructure.

Relevant for: Customers with ccloud³ resources and a growing cloud infrastructure Further information: Go to the documentation

March 2026

19 March 2026: Contacts become accounts

On 24 March 2026, registered contact persons will be migrated to personal accounts as part of the ccloud³ enhancement. This will further standardise user management and make it more intuitive.

Newly created accounts are assigned the Member role. Members have access to shared resources, but do not have access to billing information and only have read-only access to team settings.

Owners of a Teams should check the assigned rights and permissions to ensure that all access rights are set up correctly.

Relevant for: Team owners and customers who have registered contact persons

February 2026

26 February 2026 Price adjustment for domains

Prices for certain domains will change on 1 April 2026. Customers with affected domains will see the price adjustment on the invoice issued in early May.

An overview of the domain extensions affected and the new prices is available in the documentation.

Relevant for: Customers with affected domains Further information: See documentation

20 February 2026 New team and user management

From 24 February 2026, an optimised structure for Teams and user accounts will be introduced in ccloud³. The existing customer number will in future be referred to as a Team ID and will remain unchanged. A team will continue to correspond to an organisational unit and will form the basis for billing.

With the new structure, multiple Teams accounts can be managed via a single user account. Switching between Teams accounts is made easier. At the same time, the previous peer accounts are being phased out; in future, there will only be standard accounts.

Existing accounts without their own customer number, including API accounts, are automatically assigned the Member role. Team owners should therefore check the roles and permissions within the team and reassign them if necessary.

In addition, new administration sections are now available for Team Settings, Account Settings and role assignment. Billing settings can still be accessed via the Billing section.

Relevant for: Team owners, administrators and customers with multiple accounts or Teams Further information: Go to the documentation

12 February 2026 Maintenance work on the cloud infrastructure in Hallstadt/Bamberg

From 16 February 2026 to 31 March 2026, scheduled maintenance will be carried out on the cloud infrastructure at the Hallstadt/Bamberg data centre. This will affect the ccloud environment for Worker, Power and HA.

As part of this initiative, virtual machines are being migrated within the cloud infrastructure. The aim is to further enhance the security, stability and future-proofing of the cloud services.

Among other things, safety-critical components will be modernised, internal network structures optimised, redundancy schemes expanded and monitoring and surveillance mechanisms enhanced.

No restrictions are expected to affect customer systems. No downtime is planned; the ongoing operation of the VMs will be maintained and no manual intervention will be required.
