User registration and permissions for centron Colocation

In order for individuals to gain access to the Colocation area and be permitted to carry out certain actions, they must first be registered as users on the platform. Each user is assigned a role.

Teams & Roles in the centron platform

The role determines which authorisations the individual is granted in relation to the data centre and the Colocation services they have booked.

Roles and permissions

Owner

The Owner has full access rights to the Colocation area.

This role can:

  • carry out all actions
  • manage users
  • assign permissions
  • initiate chargeable orders
  • remove hardware from the data centre

Member

A member is granted access to the data centre.

In addition, this role can:

  • place orders subject to a charge
  • remove hardware from the data centre

Modifier

A modifier is granted access to the data centre.

In addition, this role can:

  • place orders that incur a charge

However, this role is not authorised to remove hardware from the data centre.

Hinweis

Please ensure that all persons who require access to the data centre or are required to carry out tasks in the Colocation area are registered on the platform in good time and assigned the appropriate role.
