Backup calculation
As part of Premium Full Managing, centron carries out backups for systems in accordance with the following schedule:
Data backups are carried out in accordance with the grandfather-father-son principle (G-F-S) and are performed daily. Backups are retained for either seven or twenty-eight days.
In this article, we explain the billing policy for automatically generated backups.
Billing period
Backup storage is billed on a usage basis, per hour or part thereof and per gigabyte or part thereof. Invoices are issued in bulk on the first day of the following month, so that you can adjust your financial planning accordingly.
Calculation method
The charge is based on the actual amount of backup storage used, calculated per hour or part thereof and per gigabyte or part thereof. The monthly bill therefore reflects the total storage space used to back up your data over the course of the month.
Increasing your storage capacity may also increase your backup storage capacity.
Transparency and traceability
You can view your current backup storage usage at any time on the billing page, which provides a high degree of transparency and control over the costs incurred. This allows you to actively manage the volume of your backups and make adjustments as required.
