Securepoint installation

In this article, we’ll show you how to install your Securepoint client and how to import its configuration file.

Installation​

Here you will find step-by-step installation instructions for the Securepoint VPN client.

Download the installer with the following name: openvpn-client-installer-x.x.xx.exe

Installation instructions​

  1. Double-click the downloaded .exe file. Select your preferred language.

  2. Then click ‘Next’ and accept the licence terms.

  3. Select your preferred installation path.

  4. Select ‘Management’ mode.

  5. Click ‘Install’. Once the installation is complete, click ‘Finish’.

Importing a configuration file​

Here we show you how to import your VPN configuration file into your client.

  1. Now open the Securepoint VPN Client. The icon will appear in the taskbar in the bottom right-hand corner. Once it has opened, click on the cog icon and select ‘Import’.

  2. Select the required configuration file and click ‘Import’.

  3. Your VPN connection will now be set up automatically and can be started at the touch of a button.
