Setting up an SSL certificate

If you have purchased a certificate or already have an SSL certificate following a domain transfer, you can import it for your website. Our guide will show you how to integrate your SSL certificates using our WebPanel.

Installing a .pdfx file

To install a certificate for your Windows website via the web panel, you will need your certificate as a .pfx file and the corresponding password.

If you have the certificate in a different format, we’d be happy to help you integrate it.

Please send us all the certificate files you have, securely packed into a ZIP archive, to technik@centron.de.

1. Under ‘Websites’, select the website you want.
2. On the right-hand side, you will find the ‘SSL’ tab.
3. After clicking on ‘Upload certificate’, you can upload your locally stored .pfx file via ‘Select file’.
4. Enter the password for the .pfx file and click on ‘Install certificate’.
5. Back on the overview page, you will see a green padlock and the expiry date of your certificate.

Your website is now protected by SSL and can be accessed via ‘https://“’. On the overview page, you will now see a green padlock next to your website and the certificate’s expiry date.
