Create a Let's Encrypt certificate

Find out how to create a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate with centron – either as a managed service via the website or free of charge and automatically via WebPanel.

For a monthly fee (12-month term, billed monthly), we will take care of issuing and subsequently managing the certificate. Current rates are listed in the SSL certificate price overview.

Generate a Let's Encrypt certificate via WebPanel​

With our intuitive interface, it takes just a few steps to secure your website with SSL:

  1. Under ‘Websites’, select the website you want.

  2. On the right-hand side, you will find the ‘SSL’ tab.

  3. Click the ‘Install a free certificate from Let's Encrypt’ button.

  4. Read and accept the Terms of Service (‘Let's Encrypt Terms of Service’).

  5. Select the domains to be included in the certificate:

    1. Select the main domain from the drop-down menu.

    2. On the right, you can select additional domains that you would like to include in the certificate.

  6. Clicking on ‘Install Let's Encrypt SSL’ will automatically issue the certificate.

  7. You will now see the newly installed certificate and its expiry date.

    Let's Encrypt certificates are automatically renewed after 3 months until further notice.

  8. Back on the website overview page, you will see the information about the certificate.

Your website is now protected by SSL and can be accessed via ‘https://’.
