Quick Start

At centron, you have several options for setting up and using a domain … :

• You can switch to ‘centrons nameservers’ and transfer your DNS management to us.

  If you already own a domain and have DNS records, you will need to set these up in your ccloud³ control panel. This can be done from there under Segment: Network → Section: Domains. You will then need to delegate the domain by updating your registrar so that you can use centrons’ name servers.

  Important

  If your domain is already in active use, you should recreate the domain’s DNS records on centron before delegating the domain, in order to avoid any downtime – Please feel free to contact us beforehand!

• You can run the entire process – from the registration (we are a DENIC member) of one or more domains, through to their set-up, management and operation on a suitable infrastructure – via centron.
