A quick guide to uploading, using and deleting custom images on centron for ccloud³ VMs.

Uploading custom images to centron

  1. Go to the Control Panel and, in the ‘Images’ section, select the ‘Custom Images’ tab.
  2. Click the ‘Upload image’ button to open a file dialogue box. You can also upload a file using drag-and-drop or use the ‘Import via URL’ button to provide a link to an image. The Control Panel supports uploads from HTTP, HTTPS and FTP URLs.
  3. Enter details about your image, e.g. name, data centre region, desired tags and notes. Then click ‘Upload’.

Creating ccloud³ VMs from custom images

  1. Go to the ccloud³ VM creation page and, in the ‘Select an image’ section, click the ‘Custom images’ button.
  2. Select the custom image you want.
  3. Complete the remaining settings on the creation page and then click “Create”.

Delete custom images

  1. In the Control Panel, click on ‘Images’, then on the ‘Custom images’ tab.
  2. In the ‘More’ menu for a custom image, select ‘Delete’.
  3. In the confirmation window, click on ‘Delete item’.
