A quick guide to uploading, using and deleting custom images on centron for ccloud³ VMs.
Uploading custom images to centron
- Go to the Control Panel and, in the ‘Images’ section, select the ‘Custom Images’ tab.
- Click the ‘Upload image’ button to open a file dialogue box. You can also upload a file using drag-and-drop or use the ‘Import via URL’ button to provide a link to an image. The Control Panel supports uploads from HTTP, HTTPS and FTP URLs.
- Enter details about your image, e.g. name, data centre region, desired tags and notes. Then click ‘Upload’.
Creating ccloud³ VMs from custom images
- Go to the ccloud³ VM creation page and, in the ‘Select an image’ section, click the ‘Custom images’ button.
- Select the custom image you want.
- Complete the remaining settings on the creation page and then click “Create”.
Delete custom images
- In the Control Panel, click on ‘Images’, then on the ‘Custom images’ tab.
- In the ‘More’ menu for a custom image, select ‘Delete’.
- In the confirmation window, click on ‘Delete item’.
